New at Job Market Finland: Updates to Professional Information and support for career planning
We updated the Professional Information section in Job Market Finland in spring 2024. Some improvements include the presentations of professional fields and the content of job descriptions. We also published new videos on career planning skills.
The presentations of professional fields in the Professional Information section have been made more concise, and they have been updated in terms of both appearance and content. You can find the professions of each field and the most recent professional interviews on the page of each professional field. New interviews are published every month, with more than 80 new interviews published in 2023 alone.
The descriptions of occupations now include salary information based on Statistics Finland’s structure of earnings statistics, in line with Statistics Finland’s classification of occupations (AML 2010). The classifications do not always manage to perfectly match the job market, so the salary information is indicative. Salaries may vary greatly within a profession.
